Robb Wolf's latest blog post about this topic will truly shed some light on this issue if you are having a hard time figuring out which option is best for you.

PWO Nutrition - High or Low Carb???

Robb Wolf - CrossFit Nutrition Guru

So many of you will ask Stephen or myself, "What should I eat before I workout?" "What kind of carbs should I have?" "What should I eat after my workout?" "Is beer in the Zone Diet?" etc, etc, etc,....

At CrossFitMT we realize that dialing in your nutrition is hugely responsible in achieving your fitness goals. As our clients, you are only with us for less than an hour each day. That leaves 23 hours of the day for you to either eat in a way that will negatively or positively effect your fitness performance, health, asthetics (how you look naked) and longevity.

Please keep a concious effort to keep a nutrition journal of what your eating, how much and when. Bring it in to us anytime and we will help you make the corrections that you need to ensure you reach your fitness goals.

Also, check out Robb Wolf's site. He is the head nutrition expert within the CrossFit community. Search through his blog posts and comments and you can almost gurantee to find any answer to any nutrition question possible.
